Hi @kimberly_arana5
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printer is only printing blank pages despite having new cartridges, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that the new cartridges are installed correctly. Remove them and reinstall, making sure they click into place.
2. Remove Protective Tape:
- Double-check that any protective tape or plastic covering the cartridge nozzles or contacts has been removed.
3. Clean the Print Head:
- Use the printer's maintenance menu to perform a print head cleaning. This can help clear any clogs that might prevent ink from flowing.
4. Check Ink Levels:
- Even with new cartridges, it’s worth checking that the printer recognizes them as full. Sometimes, cartridges can be faulty.
5. Run a Test Print:
- Try printing a test page directly from the printer’s menu. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer or the connection to your device.
6. Print Quality Settings:
- Ensure that your print settings are not set to "Print in Grayscale" or "Draft" mode, which might affect output.
7. Software Issues:
- Restart your computer and the printer. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve communication issues.
8. Update Drivers:
- Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP website to download the latest drivers.
9. Try Another Document:
- Attempt to print from a different document or application to see if the issue is with the specific file.
10. Reset the Printer:
- If all else fails, you might want to perform a factory reset on the printer (refer to your user manual for instructions).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
