Hi @Rolf14,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 is detecting that it's enrolled in HP's Instant Ink program, which is causing it to reject other cartridges. Here’s what you can do to resolve this issue.
Check Instant Ink Enrollment:
- Verify if your printer is indeed enrolled in HP Instant Ink. You can do this by logging into your HP Instant Ink account online or through the HP Smart app.
Cancel Instant Ink Enrollment (if not intended):
- If you did not intend to enroll in Instant Ink or want to use regular cartridges, you can cancel your Instant Ink subscription. This will allow your printer to accept standard HP cartridges.
Reset the Printer:
- Perform a reset on your printer to clear any temporary issues. This can sometimes resolve cartridge detection problems.
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 1-2 minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn the printer back on and see if it detects the new cartridges correctly.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 and get it printing with your newly purchased cartridges.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
