Hi @raqi_1981,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage Ultra 4927 All-in-One Printer. To resolve the slowness and poor print quality, here are a few steps you can take:
1. Check Printer Settings
- Print Quality: Make sure the printer is set to the correct print quality. If it's set to "Draft" mode, the quality will be low but print speed will be faster. To improve quality, change it to "Normal" or "Best" in the printer settings.
- Paper Type: Ensure that the correct paper type is selected in the print settings. For example, if you're printing on photo paper, select "Photo Paper" as the paper type.
2. Clean the Printhead
Poor print quality can result from clogged printheads. Use the following steps to clean the printhead:
- Open the HP Smart app or the printer software on your computer.
- Look for the Tools or Maintenance section and select Clean Printhead.
- The printer will perform a cleaning cycle to remove clogs or dried ink from the printhead.
3. Update Printer Drivers
- Outdated drivers can cause performance and quality issues. Make sure your printer driver is up-to-date by downloading the latest version from the HP website.
4. Check Ink Levels
- If the ink levels are low, it can affect both speed and print quality. Replace any cartridges that are running low or are depleted.
5. Paper Jams or Alignment Issues
- If there's a partial paper jam or the paper is misaligned, it can slow down printing. Check the paper tray and remove any paper that is stuck or improperly loaded.
- Align the printhead from the printer software under Tools or Printer Maintenance.
6. Try Using a Different USB/Wi-Fi Connection
- If you're using a slow connection (such as an older USB cable or weak Wi-Fi signal), this could be causing the print delay. Try using a different connection method if available.
7. Check for Firmware Updates Update the firmware on an HP printer
- HP may have released firmware updates for your printer that could address performance issues. Check for firmware updates via the HP Smart app or the HP website.
8. Reset the Printer
- Resetting the printer may resolve the slowness. Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.
