HP DeskJet 3636 All-in-One Printer

I've been trouble shooting for an hour and cannot get an answer. My black ink is dry and I'm waiting on the new one to come in, I was told I could use single cartridge mode until then. I've taken our the black cartridge, reset the printer, & selected OK in the HP app to use single cartridge mode, but when I select print, my computer gives me an error stating my printer 'Requires Attention' and I cannot force print. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi @Ashley1031,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I read this post. Please get the black cartridge also. It will help.

Try to install the same drivers that are being used on this computer.

Eg: on the other computer if it runs Windows 10 only. If it runs Windows 7, then install Windows 7 compatible drivers as Windows 7 drivers will not work for Windows 10 and vice-versa.  Just ordering another black cartridge might fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
