Ordering ink for your HP OfficeJet 5258 can be done in two ways: regular ink cartridges or HP Instant Ink subscription. Here’s how to proceed with both:

Ordering Regular Ink Cartridges

Check Your Ink Cartridge Type

• Your printer uses HP 63 or HP 63XL cartridges (for the U.S.).

Replacement ink and toner is available from HP and local retailers.

• Go to the HP Store.
• Select your country/region and language.
• Click Ink & toner at the top of the page.
• Follow the instructions to find and order the cartridges for your printer.

Consider XL Cartridges

• XL cartridges print more pages and offer better value over time.
• If you print frequently, XL is a good choice. If not, regular cartridges may be better.

 

Ordering HP Instant Ink

Sign Up for HP Instant Ink

• Go to HP Instant Ink and create an account.
• Choose a subscription plan based on your monthly printing needs.

Receive Ink Automatically

• HP will send ink before you run out, based on your usage.
• Instant Ink cartridges are larger but fit the same way as regular ones.

Cancel Anytime

• If you decide to stop using Instant Ink, you’ll need to switch to regular cartridges.
