Envy 120 Inkjet

Hi - We have a trusty old HP Envy 120 all in one Inkjet printer. Needless to say it won't accept third party ink cartridges, so we had the office purchase original HP ink cartridges. Now I cant get the printer to accept the new 300XL black ink cartridge we just received via Amazon. It was in original packaging and once I inserted it the error message says one or more cartridges seems to be faulty. 

Ive tried the wiping the contacts, removing the power cable, putting the old cartridge back in. After hours, nothing is working. It has accepted the new colour XL cartridge. 

So assuming the new cartridge actually is faulty, how on earth do I get HP to send me a replacement? Their support network is impenetrable.

Why don't you contact the seller on Amazon and ask for a replacement?
