I continue to have issues with brand new HP 65 ink cartridges being dry upon arrival. This has happened multiple times when the cartridges are being ordered and sent directly from the HP website. After running all the diagnostics and attempting to print numerous test pages, the ink levels continue to decrease even though nothing is showing up on the page! Upon contacting customer service this last time, they had me video chat them and after hours of running diagnostics and nothing working, they finally sent me a replacement cartridge and lo and behold, I had the same exact issue! I ended up having to soak the black cartridge in hot water for hours and finally, after losing ~50% of the ink, it started working again. I'm just extremely frustrated that I've spent so much money on genuine HP cartridges and end up wasting hours of my time troubleshooting when this should not be happening. I have not found a reasonable answer as to why this continues to happen, and at this point, I am just ready to dispose of my *second* HP printer and ditch the brand for good. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi @Sams2023,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your printer ink cartridges.
Every ink cartridge comes with an expiry date and if the ink cartridge is not working for some reason.
You will always have the option to get them replaced based on the warranty of the ink cartridge.
The support here is limited and this issue might require one-on-one interaction to get it replaced.
I've sent you a private message with the instructions. In order to access your private messages, Click the Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link

I am having the same issue with the 67XL cartridge. Purchased a new 2-pack that included the 67XL and 67 TriColor cartridges with an expiration/warranty end date of September 2024. Attempted to install them. The color cartridge was fine, but the black ink is dried up and non-functional. Can't figure out how to open warranty claim for the cartridge. All support options seem to require a device serial number. I bought a new 67 standard black cartridge and installed it and it works fine, but the 67XL needs warranty replacement. How should I do this?
