I have purchased three genuine HP61 ink cartridges and none of them are accepted by my printer. Error message I receive is as follows.
“The following ink cartridge(s) must be replaced.” The symbol is for the black ink cartridge. I have tried cleaning the contacts on both the new cartridges and the printer. I have tried resetting the printer. I have tried powering down the printer and leaving off for several minutes. Nothing seems to solve the issue. This has never happened to me before. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this, or is the printer junk now?
