HP OfficeJet 5745 e-All-in-One Printer

I just installed a new black ink cartridge (62XL) into my printer, and it says "Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed, then click OK."  I have looked through these tips and I've tried the following:  

1. Unplugged power cord from back of printer and out of wall, waited 60 sec, then replugged everyhing

2. Updated firmware

3. Checked cartridge for damage

4. Wiped off cartridge and inside of printer

None of these things has worked.  Is there anything else I can do?

If you have performed all the steps from this document here, then either the cartridge is faulty or the printer. 

Update the firmware: Click here

I have the same problem. A new ink cartridge was shipped to me but it did not solve the problem. 

Did you receive a solution?
