Hi @Bear88,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e is stuck on "Validating Please Wait" after replacing the ink cartridges, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check Ink Cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove and reinsert them to ensure they are seated correctly. Also, check for any protective tape or packaging that might still be on the cartridges.
- Power Cycle: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.
- Clean Contacts: Gently clean the contacts on the ink cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth. Make sure there's no dust or residue that could interfere with the connection.
- Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues with new cartridges.
- Reset the Printer: You might want to perform a factory reset on the printer. Keep in mind this will erase all settings and you’ll need to set up the printer again. You can usually find the reset option in the printer's settings menu.
- Verify Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the cartridges you are using are compatible with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e. Using the wrong cartridges can sometimes cause issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
