Hello there!  I am unable to print anything in color with a blue tone in it.  After changing the cartridges, I was able to finally print in color,  but all of the blue tones are missing.  The initial issue was not being able to print anything at all, but I think that was due to the low ink levels, and now, I am dealing with this issue.

 

Would it be easier to upgrade to a new printer?  Thank you so much!

Before considering upgrading to a new printer, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue with the missing blue tones on your HP OfficeJet 4650. 

 

Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the new blue ink cartridge is properly installed and has sufficient ink. You can check the ink levels through the printer software on your computer or directly on the printer's control panel.

Print a Test Page: Print a test page from the printer itself. Most printers have a function to print a test page, and this can help you identify if the issue is with the printer or the computer.

Clean Print Heads: The missing blue tones could be due to clogged print heads. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to clean the print heads. Usually, this can be done through the printer software on your computer.

Calibrate the Printer: Some printers have a calibration function that can help ensure accurate color reproduction. Check your printer manual for instructions on how to calibrate the printer.

Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your OfficeJet 4650.

Check Color Settings: Verify that your printer settings and the settings in your printing software are configured correctly for color printing. Ensure that the color settings match the document you are trying to print.
