Hi! My Deskjet 4155e doesn’t print anything other than blue and yellow. I tried cleaning and deep cleaning the printhead through the SmartApp, but to no avail. I also took out the ink cartridges and cleaned them with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber. Printer was sitting in a box since 2023, but the new ink was put in during December of 2025. It seems that every tip/trick I’ve been recommended has failed. 

I appreciate any help!

Hi! 

Rats, I already tried that with no improvement 😕 … I was considering taking out the actual print head and manually cleaning it, but cannot find any info on how to safely remove the print head piece. The black ink cartridge has not printed out any black ink since its installation. Would it work to just get a new cartridge? (Open to any/all tips)!
