HP Envy Inspire 7900e series. Setting up the new printer but it didn't come with setup cartridges, so I can't complete the setup.

I received instructions from HP, but my printer had disconnected from the WiFi and was stuck on the error message screen with no way to back out of it.  I removed the ink cartridges and unplugged it for about 5 minutes.  When I turned it back on I was able to reconnect it to WiFi and I was able to access the finish setup option.  I popped the cartridges back in once prompted, ready to follow the instructions provided by HP, when it accepted the cartridges and the setup was complete.  It's working fine now.

Hi @RMorris1,

Welcome to HP Support Community!

To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
