Can someone from HP show me how to unblock my ink cartridges from the printer? I can not print important documents for work because HP blocked my ink cartridges. I don't want to use HP ink because it costs too much, and I found a cheaper brand with great quality.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

This printer model was introduced in June 2016.

 

In general, that the printer is objecting to the non-HP chipped cartridge means that

 

1)  The printer is not one of the models impacted by the governing document that allows use of non-HP cartridges and / or one or more of the other requirements are missing.

 

OR

 

2)  The firmware needs to be updated.

 

OR

 

3)  The cartridges are not compatible for other reasons -- Any of these reasons, no matter the cause, are not supported by HP.  You can certainly check with the ink maker and see if they will replace the cartridges for you.
