The new firmware is not allowing my printer to use generic ink. This is a work around the laws that state companies can not control the supplies put into my own personal property. This infringes upon my rights! If HP does not fix their enormous error I will take action starting with a return of my current device and posting reviews to google, amazon, best buy, sams, target, and costco!

I am having this issue on two HP printers and am very dissatisfied. If I have to replace generic ink. I will upgrade and buy a competitor’s printer instead! I had a double pack of ink. Was working fine in both printers until now needing to change ink again. I’m seeing I’m not the only one HP has upset. This has taken up a lot of time.
