I installed GPC Image replacement ink cartridges in my HP 6968 printer. I get error messages and it won't let me print. The cartridges the proper 902 ink cartridges and the exp. date is 11/28/2021. I have installed them correctly and can't get past the error messages. Is HP really telling me I can only use their ink in my printer? I would be very grateful for any help in resolving this situation.

Hi @Aiki,

I'd like to help!

This is Dynamic security enabled printer. The Firmware Update may prevent supplies with non-HP chips or circuitry from working.

Note: For printers manufactured prior to December 1, 2016 dynamic security will not be enabled by the firmware. Please note that HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP cartridges.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
