HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

Our vendor substituted non HP ink cartridges when the HP ones weren't available.  They worked until a recent firmware update.

1) Is there any way to restore the printer to factory settings?

2) HP, this is for you,  how could you?  We are a non-profit that serves the SEVERLY DISABLED.  WE CANNOT AFFORD TO THROW AWAY PERFECTLY GOOD INK CARTRIDGES TO PROTECT YOUR BOTTOM LINE.  You owe us 4 new ink cartridges for not allowing us to disable this feature.  I guess corporate greed knows no bounds.

thanks for the help.  I understand that a HP security "feature" is causing a problem.  The 2nd link doesn't apply because I have a 9010.  HP got sued for this type of behavior in the past.  Why is it happening again?  It seems to be a restraint of trade.  As I said, they cartridges were working until a firmware update.  So we can't return the cartridges.  As I said in my previous report, my organization serves the severely disabled and it is painful to loose $65 worth of cartridges because HP made a change.  We have ordered HP cartridges but after this my organization will not be ordering any more HP printers (and I make this decision)..
