There are no options for more than two sizes of paper and none for choice of paper (photo/paper) after I choose the picture I want to print? Is it the printer or the computer that needs adjust

Hi,

It is the printer settings that need to be adjust for the used paper size through the HP Smart app.

Please clarify your operating system version and what exact paper size you would like to use as an example.

I have windows 10. I would like the option to print postcard (5x7) and A5 for example. As previously stated I also need the option of photo paper, matt, gloss etc.

From the HP Smart app click on Printer Settings.

Click on Advanced Settings and select the Settings tab, from there under Preferences select Paper and Tray Management and select the required Paper Size and Type settings for the Small or Medium Paper section.

Also make sure the correct paper size and type are selected within the print dialog before printing.

At last I have been able to try your solution. Thank you. Do I have to do this procedure before every different print job? Do I not get the choices automatically from a drop down menu on the computer as with my previous printers?
