My HP Instant Ink cartridges have not arrived and I'm using non-instant ink cartridges. 

 

It clearly says that "Pages printed without using HP Instant Ink cartridges are not recorded."

 

However, the pages I have printed with my non-instant ink cartridges are counting against my Instant Ink quota.

 

Could HP support please address this for me.

@komonatis, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

Yes, the pages printed using non Instant Ink cartridges are not counted. However, make sure both the ink cartridges in the printer are non Instant Ink cartridges.

 

If you are using any one Instant Ink cartridge, it still counts the pages printed.

 

You may log in to your Instant Ink account to check the status of the replacement ink cartridge and even track it.

Thanks for your reply, but this does not help.

 

My first instant ink shipment has not even arrived and both the cartridges I’m using are NON-instant ink.

 

Still, the pages are being counted against my quota.

 

Please get back to me as soon as you can.

To assist you better, I would need some information related to your Instant Ink Subscription. This information cannot be shared on a public post.

Thank you for the information. I see that the Instant Ink cartridges should be delivered today. 

 

The ink cartridges that you are using in the printer are Instant Ink ready cartridges that came with the printer. So, as the printer was enrolled, it started counting pages.

 

I also see that you have 6 trial months remaining. Billing for your plan pages will start on 24/06/2022. Hence, you will not be charged if you print 700 pages per month.
