Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just ran out of yellow ink and replaced cartridge with the same non-HP replacement cartridge and my printer comes up with error "non HP Chip Detected". I have used only CompAndSave ink and this is the first time this error has come up. It usually just says non HP cartridge and we can't tell what amount is left blah blah blah. What is the work-around for this?

What printer model?  Have you recently updated the printer firmware?  If you reinstall (presumably empty) cartridge that was removed is it accepted?

 

I would suggest you contact your supplier.
