I just bought an OEM ink cartridge from a big box retailer for my office jet 4650. I was able to print just fine for the first few pages, then it started saying that the ink cartridge was not installed properly. I would go through the steps to open it up take out the cartridge, then reinstall cartridge. It would print one job (usually one shipping label), then before I could print again I'd have to follow the same steps. I was able to print maybe 10 print jobs doing that.
But now no matter what if do, unplugging it, plugging it directly to the wall outlet, cleaning the cartridge & the contract pins, everything that was recommended on every other suggestions from other people having this same issue with the same printer and nothing will get it to work. I feel that there's an issue with this printer and or the cartridges. Any other new suggestions? For reference I only print about 5 pages a month, although last month I printed about 20 (about 15+/- on new cartridge)
