My HP printer is printing very light or not at all and it has a new ink cartridge in it.

I understand you are trying to clear the print heads on your HP DeskJet 4152e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps using the built-in HP software on Windows 11:

Step 1: Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor HP Print and Scan Doctor

  1. Download and install the HP Print and Scan Doctor from the official HP website if you haven't already: HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  2. Launch the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  3. Click on your printer when prompted.
  4. Select Fix Printing and let the tool run through the diagnostic process.
  5. The tool will automatically check for issues, including clearing clogged print heads.

Step 2: Manually Clean the Printheads How to Clean Printer Heads: A Guide to Better Ink Efficiency

If the issue persists, you can manually clean the printheads using the HP software:

  1. Open HP Smart on your computer (make sure the printer is connected to the computer).
  2. Select your printer in the app.
  3. Go to Printer Settings or Manage Printer.
  4. Look for the Printer Maintenance section.
  5. Choose Clean Printhead and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 3: Print a Test Page

After cleaning, print a test page to check the results. If the prints are still light or incomplete, repeat the cleaning process or consider running it multiple times.

If this doesn't solve the issue, the printhead might be heavily clogged, or the printer may need a more in-depth cleaning.
