My printer produces massive streaking when printing in colour and needs cyan .  However it prints small blocks of Cyan perfectly (Test Pattern2) on the Print Quality Diagnostic page but not on the green blocks on Test Pattern 3.  I have done all 3 stages of the print head cleaning and alignment.  changing cartridges also makes no difference.  I have checked the vent on the cartridge and it seems to be clear.  Anything else I can do?

I understand that the cyan ink cartridge is not working properly, I am glad to assist you.

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

And if the issue still persists, this could be a cartridge issue.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH CYAN COLOR... I RECEIVE SEVERAL NEW CARTRIDGES FROM HP INSTANTINK AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES... I MADE SEVERAL TEST, CLEANS, ETC AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES...

Hi,

first: Sorry for my bad english.

 

Maybe I ve got the same problem. Instead of blue I am getting magenta lines all over my printed picture.

Did you try to print a report page or something like that? When I m printing a report page all colors are fine.

There is also no problem when I am printing via my smartphone (no driver installed).

That´s the reason why I believe it s not a hardware but a software problem

 

I called support two times, but nobody was able to help me.

Thanks for the comments. I am away on business at the moment but will try extended cleaning on my return. I have changed the cartridge but with no change.
