My Officejet 8022 is not printing the cayan color. It will print all other colors perfectly fine, except the blue. I have switched ink cartridges, ran the cleaning cycle for the printhead multiple times, cleaned the cartridge head, manually washed the printhead, but no luck. Please help!

Hi @AM1713,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
To assist better-
- Does the copy print out the same way?
- What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
- Do you get any error messages on the printer?
- Are you using Genuine HP ink cartridges
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable to your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I have the same problem on a OfficeJet 8022: Cyan is not printing anymore; inklevle is about 30%
I have carried out several cleaning cycles but no luck
Firmware is up to date.
I am thinking if I should buy and insert an new Cyan Cartrtidge or if I should save this money and dispose the printer right now.
Anything else I might test or do?
Thanl you for any info or tip in advance

Hi,
first: Sorry for my bad english.
same problem here. (Officejet 6970)
Maybe I ve got the same problem. Instead of blue I am getting magenta lines all over my printed picture.
Did you try to print a report page or something like that? When I m printing a report page all colors are fine.
There is also no problem when I am printing via my smartphone (no driver installed).
That´s the reason why I believe it s not a hardware but a software problem
I called support two times, but nobody was able to help me.
