HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

My OfficeJet Pro 6968 suddenly stopped printing yellow.  The cartridge was low (not empty), but I replaced it anyway (with an HP brand cartridge).  The printer acknowledged the new cartridge.  However, when I went to print again, yellow AND magenta were BOTH failing to print.  Black and Cyan continue to work perfectly.  I have cleaned the print heads 4 times now with no improvement.  Why would this happen and what can I do about it?

Hi @Eesh42,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you are facing a print quality issue.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

I've sent you a private message with further instructions to get this issue sorted.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
