OfficeJet Pro 8030 Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new OfficeJet 8030 series that won’t print cyan or yellow. Black and magenta are fine. Things I have tried:

* cleaning the print heads (many times)

* aligning the print heads (won’t scan the alignment page)

* replacing the cartridges (new Instant Ink carts)

* unplugging the printer for 60 seconds and turning it back on

* updating the printer

This problem is on things I print from my phone and on test pages the printer prints natively. I think the next step is replacing the print heads, but I can’t find information on that. Any suggestions?

@Bks33691, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Apologies for the inconvenience. There is an issue with the new lot of HP 910 Cyan and Yellow ink cartridges and they were recalled. If the Cartridge was manufactured in Malaysia and the Warranty End Date is between April 1st, 2022 and September 18th, 2022, please do not use this ink cartridge.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options for the ink cartridge or to check its availability.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Also, check if the printer/ink cartridges are eligible for a replacement. Refer to -  'Incompatible' or 'Defective Cartridge' message

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
