Hi,
my hp officejet 4658 is not recognizing the empty/damaged black ink, as it sill shows on its screen that the cartridge is not empty. But when I try to print with it, no black color is being printed. When I print the report page, the indicator for the black ink shows that it is empty. I have tried all the cleaning options and followed all the instruction from the virtual agent, but nothing seems to be working. I don't think that the cartridge is dried because I was using it fairly regularly and this actually happened abruptly.
Can you please help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance.

@HA45, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand the black ink cartridge is not working. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Check if the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error
Insert the old/alternate ink cartridge(if available) and check if the error persists. If not, then the new one is defective.
If the error persists,
