I bought a new 902xl black cartridge in Feb 2023 and installed it at the end of March 2023.  I had no problems with the old cartridge except it ran out of ink.  After 1 week the printer acted like it is out of black ink.  I cleaned the heads using the HP utility on the printer and the printer worked normally for 1 or 2 pages then starts acting like it is out of black ink again.  I ran the head cleaner routine again and the printer worked normally for 1 or 2 pages then starts acting like it is out of black ink again. The printer is telling me that I have a full black ink cartridge.  The cartridge was made in Malasia and the warranty expiration date is 2024/08.  Please tell me what should I do other than buy another expensive print cartridge.

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair or replacement.
