HP Deskjet 7610 (alias HP Officejet 7612)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Even with all cartridges  replaced with new, (at the cost of a fortune!), printhead cleaning to third level, the Printer Status Report shows CYAN just as a weak shadow, or, hardly not printed at all. This printer has been excellent up to now - all of a sudden printing just a blurred  mess.

Bought in 2017, is this normal?

It's my impression A3 printers in general and this model in particular are exceptionally prone to failure. My barely used £330 HP Officejet 7612 suffered a none specific but catastrophic ink supply failure. A quick glance at Ebay will find a handful of these printers suffering ink supply problems despite hardly being used. I spent over £130 to finally discover it required a part that is not sold, expect in the second hand market and would require a complete strip down to fit; another £140: thus my username.

Used print heads are available and can be done at home though it is quite tricky and may still be useless.
