Hello, I replaced an empty black cartridge on my HP 8620 Officejet with a new genuine HP cartridge 950 XL. Upon restarting and loading the new cartridge the printer confirmed a new genuine cartridge was loaded and then stated "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP."
I tried all the usual, to no avail. Then contacted HP who were very helpful and checked my drivers etc, and finally decided it must be a faulty cartridge so they sent me a new one, FOC. Unfortunately, even with the new cartridge I run into the same problem. I removed the cartridge holder from the printer but cannot identify anything unusual.
Any ideas, before I hand it in for repair? Warranty is expired....
