I have an OfficeJet Pro 6978. It's about 2 years old. I started having trouble with the cyan a while back, but usually if I printed on best quality, instead of draft it would work ok. In the last few days I have been having trouble with the cyan going out completely. After running up to level 3 cleaning, I was able to get it printing well enough to get some things printed with good enough quality. Today it didn't want to work at all, even after level 3 cleanings. If I print a diagnostic page the cyan will mostly, not show up. AFter 3 cleanings it might show up some, but then if I print a page with lots of blue, it is super streaky and sometimes completely absent.
I have tried all the troubleshooting steps, and not sure what else to do. I hate to have to replace it because it works so well otherwise and is not that old. Please help!

Unfortunately, after talking with hp twice, and going through rather lengthy trouble-shooting, and waiting on a new cartridge that I knew would not fix the problem. I was basically told they can't do anything for me. My printer is only 2 years old. Out of warranty though, so I'm out of luck. Not really happy with that solution. A printer should last longer than 2 years.
