I just replaced the black cartridge with an HP 952XL (the date on the box shows 2019) and as shown in the Subject line I get the message that it is an Older Generation Cartridge.
Accessing the INK menu there is the message Incompatible Cartridges
(And yet in the same message screen there is a list of Supported Cartridges i.e. 952XL, 952, 956XL)
And so I am unable to print with this never used Incompatible/Supported cartridge 😒.
Is there a 'work around' which will allow me to use this never used cartridge?

- Are you sure this is an HP genuine ink cartridge?

If this is a genuine HP ink cartridge, I would need some information related to the ink cartridges and the printer which cannot be shared on a public post for security reasons.
I have sent you a private message, reply to the message with the required details.

I have done as requested @Betty0610 i.e. replied to your message a couple of days ago. Thank you in advance for your help.

Were you able to get in touch with HP Canada?
@Betty0610 I think you have me confused with someone else as I replied to your private message, as you had requested, a week ago ie on January 16th. And I did not receive any feedback from you re that message I sent on that date and as far as I can see, no where in this public thread did you mention that I was to get in touch with HP Canada. This is a bit frustrating.

I FB messaged HP Canada over 2 weeks ago and have had no reply from them. I thought that you would be able to expedite a solution to my inquiry.
(@Betty0610, you have posted a message I composed and sent to you as a private message as per your request. Is there a reason you posted it publicly in this thread rather than continuing the messaging privately? I would appreciate it if you could remove your/my post.)
