HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer

  • I bought brand new ink cartridges (BLK, C, Y, M) that are exact the same model(902) that came with the purchase of the printer OfficeJet Pro 6968.  I installed them into the ink slots.  The printer detected that they are genuine HP cartridges after the installation.  But it complained "Older Generation Cartridge", then refused to do any test printing.  The firmware/drivers are most updated already.  It seemed the expert @Jay_G24 may have a solution for it.  But I can't send a private message to ask him for help.   Can someone please help out?  This was pretty frustrating, with this printer I only printed about total 50~100 pages since it's bought!  The 4 new cartridges are pretty expensive, and I don't want to waste/replace them with the Instant Ink program.
