I have a HP Photosmart 6520 All in One printer and it was working fine until yesterday. Like many others before me, the dreaded "One or More Missing or Damaged Cartridges" message appeared after I changed a black ink cartridge that was low. Figuring I had a defective cartridge, I installed another new cartridge, with the same message. Tried another new black cartridge again and to make matters worse the yellow cartridge now joined the black one as missing or damaged. Changed the yellow one too with a new one and no luck. For the record all three colored cartridges were changed about week prior with no problem. I have used all genuine HP ink cartridges and purchased them via Amazon or Walmart. I have followed every possible step provided by HP and other users with no success. No reset has occurred. Printer main menu cannot be reached and is locked on this message. Any other suggestions other than buying a new printer of course. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This looks like a hardware issue with the printer. Let's try these steps:
Perform all the prescribed steps from this link: resolve 'Ink System Failure' or 'System Supply Problem' errors
- Reset the printer.
- Clean the ink cartridge vents.
- Replace all ink cartridges
- Check if the printhead is replaceable
This should fix the issue if the printer is healthy. If the issue continues, and as you've tried multiple cartridges the printer is faulty and needs to be replaced. I am being honest about it here by keeping your best interest in mind without beating around the bush. Replace all ink cartridges.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
