Hi @Dmex
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP Printer, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2875 is printing only 20-50% of the page and leaving blank spaces, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check Ink Levels
- Low ink levels can cause incomplete prints. Check the ink levels through the HP Smart app or printer display and replace any low or empty cartridges.
2. Clean the Printhead
- Clogged printheads can cause missing lines or incomplete prints. Clean the printhead using the HP Smart app or via the printer's menu:
- Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
3. Check the Paper Type and Settings
- Ensure the printer settings match the paper type you're using (e.g., Plain Paper vs. Photo Paper).
- Incorrect settings can lead to incomplete prints.
4. Run a Printer Diagnostic
- Print a test page or printer diagnostics to check if there’s an issue with the printer itself. This is often available in the HP Smart app or printer settings.
5. Check for Paper Jams
- Even small bits of paper can cause partial prints. Check for paper jams and remove any paper stuck in the printer.
6. Reinstall or Update Drivers
- Sometimes, outdated or corrupted drivers can cause print issues. Try reinstalling the printer drivers or updating them from the HP website or HP Smart app.
7. Print in Draft Mode
- If the issue persists, try printing in Draft Mode (low ink usage mode) to check if the printhead is working properly.
8. Replace the Cartridges
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
