Hi @Gavinsmummum,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the orange light is blinking on your HP DeskJet 2700e printer, it usually indicates an issue that needs attention. Here's what you can try:

Check for Paper Jams: Even a small piece of paper stuck inside can cause the light to blink. Open the printer's access door and gently remove any paper stuck inside.

Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that all ink cartridges are properly installed and seated in their respective slots.

Low Ink Level: If the ink levels are low, the printer might not function properly. Check the ink levels through the printer software or control panel.

Restart Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve the issue. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Reset Printer: You can also try resetting the printer to its factory settings. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
