Product: HP OfficeJet 8702 All-in-One Printer

I haven't used my printer for over 3 months, when I went to print something it keeps saying change toner (colored).  I put a new black toner in today.  I don't have any color toner and cant afford.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you want to print in single-cartridge mode, I am glad to assist you.

Ink is required in all cartridges to print and to perform periodic servicing to prevent clogs and other print quality issues. There is no way to bypass this feature.
