Hi @Roxy48

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for sharing the details—printing blank pages after inserting new cartridges can be frustrating, especially during alignment. Let’s walk through a few focused steps to get your printer back to crisp, clean output.

1. Check Cartridge Installation

  • Open the cartridge access door and gently remove each cartridge.
  • Inspect for any orange protective tape still covering the ink nozzles or electrical contacts.
  • If present, carefully remove it without touching the copper contacts or ink nozzles.
  • Reinsert the cartridges until they click into place.

2. Run a Power Reset

  • With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the rear and from the wall.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn the printer on. This clears temporary memory faults.

3. Use the HP App to Align and Clean

  • Open the HP App on your Windows PC or mobile device.
  • Select your printer > Printer Settings > Print Quality Tools.
  • Run Align Printhead and then Clean Printhead.
  • If the alignment page still prints blank, repeat the cleaning process up to 3 times.

4. Confirm Ink Levels

  • In the HP App, check the ink levels.
  • If any cartridge shows empty or low, even if new, reseat it and try again.

5. Use the Printer’s Embedded Menu (if available)

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Setup > Tools > Clean Printhead.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and retry the alignment.

If the page still comes out blank after these steps, let me know your printer model and whether any ink appears at all (even faintly). That will help us fine-tune the next steps together.
