Hi, i have "oficejet pro 8610"  printer. i have replace all ink cartridge  ,black-650xl,  yellow,cyan and magenta with 951. I get error massage  The print head appears to be missing,not detected or incorrectly installed.. I know that right cartridge is install correctly. It appear  it is not detected.  Please help me to resolve this problem.. Thanks

@GOVIND1209, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - An 'Ink System Failure' or 'System Supply Problem' Error Displays

You may also try the steps here - Printhead errors

Make sure you are using HP ink cartridges. Insert one ink cartridge at a time and check for the error.

Use the old ink cartridges and check if the error persists.

 

If the error persists, I'm afraid the issue is with the printhead. Replacing the printhead may or may not resolve this issue.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
