Product: PageWide Pro 477DW
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

PageWide Pro 477DW black ink is poor quality, streaking, missing ink - colors are good. We have replaced the cartridge twice with OEM HP cartridge. Different black ink cartridges produce varying degrees of print quality. We have done the steps recommended to clean, align, etc. Still no progress. We have not tried the HP Adv Cleaning Kit CN459-67006 as we don't have one of those kits here and I'm hesitant to purchase w/o knowing that it is for fixing my problem.

 

So we are puzzled as to why just the black is such poor quality.

Hello,

 

Hope you are well, thanks for the detailed information and reports, by checking the pages and the diagnostics done on the printer, I dont think is related to cartridges, by checking the quality report, this is more a printbar related issue, please check the warranty status in HP warranty check or contact one of the authorized service providers for printbar clean up, inspection and/or replacement.
