Product: HP PageWide Pro 477dw Multifunction Printer

Our Pagewide Pro 477 DW has faded print.  It's usually dark on the left side of the page, but faded on the right side.  I have run the troubleshooting steps several times, including cleaning printheads.  Any suggestions?

Hello FieldFinStrateg,

 

Make sure your printer is connected directly to the power outlet. Also make sure you use original ink that is not empty and not expired.

 

You can try to make copies or print internal reports from the printer itself: if copies look good, the problem is not the printer but drivers on your computer.

 

If even copies look bad, your printer needs further inspection. Please take it to a certified repair center for further investigation.

Thank you for your reply.  I've done all that you suggested, but the problem persists.  Next step is the repair shop!
