HI @PKM49,
Thank you for your reply!
The HP 802 ink cartridge's page yield can vary based on several factors. Although HP claims the standard yield for an HP 802 cartridge is around 120 pages (for black ink) and 100 pages (for tri-color ink), the actual yield may differ significantly based on:
- Print Settings: Using higher print quality or printing in color consumes more ink. Draft mode uses less ink, which can increase the number of pages printed.
- Content Complexity: Pages with more text, images, or graphics use more ink. If you print a lot of photos or high-coverage documents, the yield will be lower.
- Paper Type: Printing on thicker or coated paper might use more ink.
- Cartridge Age: If the cartridge has been stored for a long time, ink can dry up or become less effective.
- Cleaning Cycles: If the printer runs cleaning cycles, this also consumes ink, reducing the number of pages you can print.
- You might want to ensure you are printing in draft mode when possible, and check your printer maintenance settings to avoid unnecessary ink usage.
