So I have been sent a black ink cartridge that simpoly does not want to work and all I want to do is speak to someone and get a replacement black ink cartridge sent. Any idea how I get to speak to someone in customer supoprert as I am just going around in circles?

I understand replacement Black ink cartridge not working correctly, If you have already performed the steps from the document ink cartridge error: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 also Color or Black Ink Not Printing. And the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
