Product: Photosmart 5520
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP Photosmart 5520 is printing no black. Other colours are perfect. After numerous head cleans there is still not the merest trace of any black printing. Just blank spaces. Surely this can't be a blocked head problem?

 

I ran HP Print & Scan doctor and it confirmed "Your printer is using genuine HP ink." The Ink Levels graphic showed Magenta 1/4 full, Cyan and Yellow 1/2 full, and Black completely empty. But it is an almost full HP black cartridge!

 

What is going on here?
