Replaced cartridge, physically cleaned according to hp support. Ran the clean and align cartridges from the tools menu on the printer. Black ink won't print. I called and was told it is an issue with the driver. Mom has the same printer and the same thing happened to that one around the same time. What is going on? A quick search here shows this issue going back to at least 2014. This is not right. What is going on? Is HP turning the black cartridge off so we buy new printers? Because I will never buy another HP product. These old posts about this issue show it is a long time problem that HP should have solved by now if they intended to. They are old but work great until the black ink stopped. I'm mad because I bought ink at Costco and since it's opened I can't return it. A double burn HP. This is not right and I am looking into alerting consumer reports, not that it will do any good but I'm tired of being ripped off by billion dollar corporations while I scrape by.
That said, if someone has found a solution for this, I'm willing to keep trying.
