Purchased Original HP Ink 74 and 75 to replace low supply. Opened box and cartridge says 74/350/140/860 instead of just 74 on old cartridge. Printer gives incompatible cartridge message. I purchased a 2nd replacement cartridge which had same labeling and same result. I have tried button combo to checksum for relock data input "hack" and it bypasses error message but does not print correctly. Alignment is off.

Hi @Jbogle,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Photosmart C4480 printer where it is not accepting the ink cartridge which you purchased. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

So basically the ink cartridge says 74/350/140/860 because it is showing all the regions it supports and I understand you tried to bypass the error by performing "CHECKSUM FOR RELOCK DATA INPUT" step, but it did not work.
