Hello All,
When I am printing a quantity of blue, I get large pink lines across the page. This is a major problem.
I have HP Instant Ink cartridges. I ran all 3 levels of printhead cleaning, clean smear, and replaced the blue and yellow cartridges. I also restarted the printer. However, the problem persists.
Please help. Thank you!

Hi @a6700user,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Pink lines when printing blue on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-In-One Printer can be caused by several issues. Here are some possible solutions.
- Check the ink cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. If the ink levels are low, replace the cartridges with new ones.
- Run a cleaning cycle: The printer may have clogged printheads, which can cause color blending issues. Run a cleaning cycle from the printer software or control panel to unclog the printheads.
- Check the paper: Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and is compatible with the printer. Some papers may not work well with certain printers and can cause color issues.
- Align the printhead: Use the printer software or control panel to align the printhead. This can help improve print quality and reduce color issues.
- Update the printer driver: Make sure that you have the latest printer driver installed on your computer. An outdated driver can cause compatibility issues and affect print quality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
