Hi @ParsaradA,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Certainly! Blurry prints and lack of color on your HP ENVY 5546 All-In-One Printer can be caused by various issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your ink cartridges have sufficient ink. You can check the ink levels through the printer software on your computer or directly on the printer's display panel.
  • Clean the Printhead: Run the printhead cleaning utility from the printer software on your computer. This will help remove any dried ink or debris that may be affecting print quality.
  • Align the Printhead: Some printers have an alignment feature that ensures the printhead is properly aligned. Check your printer manual for instructions on how to align the printhead.
  • Print a Test Page: Print a test page to check if the issue persists. Most printers have a self-test or diagnostic page that you can print directly from the printer's control panel.
  • Check Print Settings: Make sure that the print settings are configured correctly. Ensure that you have selected the correct paper type and print quality settings in the printer software.
  • Update or Reinstall Drivers: Check if there are any updates available for your printer drivers. Outdated or corrupted drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. You can download the latest drivers from the official HP website.
  • Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges: Using compatible or refilled ink cartridges may result in print quality issues. Ensure that you are using genuine HP ink cartridges.
  • Inspect Paper Quality: Ensure that you are using the correct type of paper for your printer. Low-quality or incompatible paper can affect print quality. Make sure the paper is not damp or wrinkled.
  • Perform a Hardware Reset: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve minor hardware glitches.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
