No error messages. After both cartridges have been replaced the print quality has become very poor. Lots of missing colours and words. I have never had any issues. Anyone know how to fix please?

Then this could be a case of deflective ink. You could either return/replace it to the store/website you purchased it from or contact the HP Support Team regarding this.

Step 1: Use genuine HP toner cartridges.
Step 2: Check the paper.
Step 3: Check the EconoMode settings.
Step 4: Check print settings.
Step 5: Check the toner level.
Step 6: Replace a low or empty toner cartridge.
Step 7: Print a cleaning page.
