Print Black Only when color is depleted

My HP 9015 HAS 2 depleted color cartridges but the black has plenty. Over 1400 pages.  How do I print in black?

You can't. If you have any depleted or empty color ink cartridge you can't print even in black only the printer stops.

There’s no way around it?  Wish I had known it when I bought it.  It’s been a great printer but ink is so expensive!
